very unsuitable tray icon

Description

Your tray icon receives clicks only by painted part. It is necessary to aim at a pen and pencil only, and it's tiring and slowly. Is it possible to expand the active zone, ideally till edge of the screen, if desktop environment or other obstacles do not prevent this?
It happens with wikidPad 2.1rc05, wxPython: 2.8.10.1, OpenSUSE 11.3, KDE 4.4.4 "release 3"
