-On ubuntu lucid and maverick, all you need are the wxpython and wxtools packages available in synaptic. Then WikidPad 2.0 or 2.1 will run perfectly. On lucid, it is worth checking you get wx version 2.8.11, as some annoying bugs were fixed in that version - if the default package is older, there is a PPA linked from the wxPython webpage as far as I recall.
